The traditionally prescribed treatment for obstructive sleep apnea is continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy. It involves sleeping with a face mask connected by tubing to a constantly running machine. Although CPAP is effective, up to half of its patients don’t adhere to the treatment. We can provide an alternate sleep solution with oral appliance therapy.

We offer custom sleep appliances to be used by themselves or in conjunction with your current therapy. We also provide treatment for those patients who are unwilling or unable to wear CPAP masks and as an alternative to surgery.

We utilize a highly effective device called WatchPAT to test for OSA. This device allows you to take a sleep test from the comfort of your own home. WatchPAT is FDA-approved and is very easy to use. One of the benefits of testing at home is to ensure accurate data of your actual sleep habits. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to effectively use the WatchPAT. (embed WatchPat instruction video)

AM Morning Aligner

When the lower jaw is placed in a forward position during the night, it may make the jaw muscles a little sore and temporarily change the bite. The AM Morning Aligner is intended to be used as a tool to put your jaw back into a normal bite position. It is imperative to use the AM Morning Aligner every morning to reduce the risk of permanent bite change.

  • Place the AM Morning Aligner over the upper teeth.
  • Gently bite together into the indexed bite position.
  • Keep the teeth in this position for 15-30 minutes.
